Stirling Acres Sheep Dog Trial

Hello all - Below are the final results from the Stirling Acres Sheep Dog
Trial. Thanks to you all - Brian, Carly and I had a great time and enjoyed
hosting our first trial! The positive attitudes, all the willingness to help,
and the good dogs sure made for a fun time. I won't go into listing everyone who
helped as I know I will inevitably forget someone so just a big, heartfelt
thanks to all those who helped. I do want to thank Holly and Len Brunner from
Hollen Farms for the use of their flock of sheep for the trial. They were
excellent sheep for the Novice handlers to work with. The trial committee of
Lynne Schweb, Chris Cross and Holly Brunner were top-notch, bar none. Thanks so
much to them for making everything come together.
Gayle Cochlan did a top notch job judging for us and she was very impressed with
the level of competition and the good handling that was demonstrated on the
field.
I've attached some pictures of the competitors. Wishing all of you continued
success in the 2005 trial season and hope to see you all back here next year!
